🚨 CCP’s Growing Land Ownership in the U.S. Sparks National Security Concerns

Recent reports reveal that Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked entities control more than 380,000 acres of land in the United States, much of it located near sensitive military bases. This growing foreign ownership has triggered bipartisan alarm in Washington, as lawmakers warn of potential national security risks.

Experts argue that weak U.S. disclosure laws make it difficult to track foreign land purchases, allowing CCP-linked individuals and companies to operate under the radar. Many transactions do not clearly reveal whether the buyers are Chinese nationals or connected to Beijing.

Lawmakers and security analysts are now urging reforms that would require full identification of all Chinese nationals involved in land acquisitions, ensuring transparency and exposing potential CCP involvement.

This issue has become part of the broader U.S.–China strategic rivalry, where concerns extend beyond trade and technology to land, food security, and military readiness.
