🇺🇸 English Version: China Successfully Launches Jets from Its New Aircraft Carrier “Fujian”

China has successfully tested its newest and most advanced aircraft carrier, Fujian, which has now launched fighter jets using electromagnetic catapult technology — a system that was previously only used by the U.S. Navy.

The Fujian aircraft carrier, named after a coastal province in southeastern China, represents a significant leap in China’s naval power. Unlike previous Chinese carriers that used a ski-jump system to launch aircraft, Fujian uses the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS), allowing jets to take off more efficiently and carry heavier payloads.

According to reports, the Fujian is currently completing sea trials, where engineers are testing its systems, propulsion, and flight operations. This successful jet launch marks a major step forward for the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) as China seeks to compete with the U.S. in naval technology and global maritime presence.

Military analysts say this advancement puts China among the few nations capable of building and operating such advanced aircraft carriers, highlighting the country's growing military and technological influence in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
