Prince William Arrives in Rio de Janeiro for Earthshot Prize

 Prince William has arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the prestigious Earthshot Prize ceremony, which celebrates innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

The Prince of Wales was welcomed by Brazilian officials and environmental leaders as he landed in Rio ahead of the event. The Earthshot Prize, launched by Prince William in 2020, aims to inspire and reward groundbreaking ideas that help restore the planet.

This year’s ceremony will highlight projects focused on renewable energy, ocean conservation, climate adaptation, and waste reduction. Prince William is also expected to meet with local community leaders and young innovators working on sustainability projects across Brazil.

Speaking before his arrival, Prince William said he hopes the Earthshot Prize will continue to “unite people around the world with a shared mission to repair and protect the Earth.”
